About the event
The St. Petersburg Expert Forum Medical and Health Tourism is a meeting place for professionals in the field of medical and health tourism.
- The organizer is the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg
- The purpose of the Forum: promotion of the image of St. Petersburg as a destination for medical and wellness tourism, increasing numbre of tourists in St. Petersburg.
- The target audience of the Forum: medical and sanatorium organizations, Trade missions of the Russian Federation abroad, Russian homes abroad, medical tourism agencies, mass media.
- Location: St. Petersburg is the largest center of medical tourism, the city that was at the origins of its creation. The medical and resort business was originated in Russia, and now it is the only region in the country where the concept of medical tourism is enshrined at the legislative level. St. Petersburg offers world-class medical and wellness services.
